Rebekah, today you had your Spring piano recital. You played two songs and did an outstanding job. I pray that you will not give up, but will continue to take piano lessons. It is one thing that you will enjoy throughout your entire life!

After your recital you & I had a Mommy/Rebekah outing. You have asked Daddy and me to get let you get your ears pierced for your birthday. We decided you were old enough to care for them yourself, so we went to the mall for this "growing up" experience. I wasn't sure how you would do, but you did great!! You seemed pretty calm before she started and then you held your breath while she was doing the piercing. After it was all over you let out a BIG sigh and you had a BIG smile on your face!!
