Summer brings so many exciting adventures at our house. Here are a few random pictures that I thought everyone would enjoy seeing.

Micah the Talker

Micah has discovered his vocal cords over the last few days. It is very cute to hear him babble & "talk" to us. Rebekah & McKinney are loving this new thing that Micah can do! You will see Amberleigh briefly in the video. Enjoy!!

Goodbye Paci!!

Micah has decided he prefers his thumb over his pacifier. With the other two kids I tried to prevent them from sucking their thumbs, however I have decided with Micah it isn't worth the battle. He won't suck his thumb forever & for now it is very cute!!

Fun in the Sun at Lake Lanier

Today we took the kids to Lake Lanier Islands Water Park. It was Fish Family Day and only cost $10.47 to get in - far cheaper than the normal rate. We stayed about 4 hours and the kids had a good time. It took McKinney a while to get warmed up and into the swing of things for some reason. But once he did, he had a ball. Rebekah also took her first ride on a water slide with Robbie on a double tube. She was a little bit nervous, but her brave side took over and she loved it.

Micah's 1st Night Away

Micah spent the night last night with Pop & Gaga and they got some good pictures of him sucking his thumb. He has decided that he would prefer his thumb over his pacifier and we are definitely fine with that!

SNAKE!!

Last week, Robbie killed a 4-5 foot long black snake that has been hanging around our yard for a couple of weeks. We first saw it about 3 weeks ago, but it slithered into a hole in the ground right next to our driveway before we could kill. It wasn't so lucky this time. We understand that it is a harmless variety, but it is still way too big and creepy and large for us to let it live.

The Lord has blessed our family with "Mr. Andy"

After the death of Erin's husband in January 2007, the Lord has blessed Erin with a man who loves her dearly & adores the kids. Andy Brewer is a blessing, not only to Erin, Braxton, & Amberleigh, but to our entire family. Here are a few pictures of the wedding last week at Myrtle Beach. Notice who the "minister of the gospel" is!!

Father / Daughter dance to "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman. Rebekah loves being Daddy's "Cinderella"! Although you can't see Amberleigh very well, Andy is holding her for their first dance as "father/daughter".

2008 Crozier Beach Trip

After being in the car for several hours on the trip down, the kids enjoyed getting out for a snack & to get some energy out. Robbie snapped this "silly" picture of them!
