Every October we attend the McKinney Family Reunion in Liberty, SC. I made a special effort to attend this year because my Dad's Aunt Eder is in declining health. She is 94 years old & is still sharp as a tack. She knows all my children (her great great niece & nephews) by name. I didn't take Micah with me and as soon as I walked in with the other two children she asked, "Where is Micah?" I think this is amazing!! She is a character who holds a ton of family history in her memory and I love teaching my children the importance of family history & the legacy it leaves.
