So Rebekah's school has a neat incentive for reading. It is the AR program. They take short quizzes on books they read & earn points for each question they get right. Once a month the school has AR parties at lunchtime and the kids earn hats & buttons based on the number of points they have. Rebekah earned her hat & buttons up to her 45 point button. This was the most points of anyone in the 2nd grade. Her reading is really paying off!!
You can see the "stack" of buttons in her hand before I got them pinned onto her hat.
Then they get to dance!!!
Her brothers love going to school for lunch, especially hat parties.
