Muffins with Mom

Well - Mother's Day is here and so is the annual Muffins with Mom at both kid's schools. McKinney's was on Thursday and Rebekah's was on Friday, which was also her birthday. It was a special time for me and the kids. I love seeing them in their element at their schools. Here are a few pictures from both days.

McKinney answered some questions about me. A few of my favorite are that I am 10 feet tall and weigh 20 pounds (wouldn't that be nice)!! Also, I have "greyish - brownish" hair. Ouch - I know I need highlights, but seriously, "greyish"?? And my favorite of all was his answer to what is Mommy's favorite things to do - "take a nap on church days". Those of you who know me - know that his answer was spot on!!

Here is Rebekah holding a story she wrote for me about why her Mommy is important. A few of my favorites are "she scratches my back in the morning, she care for me and listens when I talk to her. But the most important thing about my Mommy is that she loves me." She is spot on as well!!

Party Time

Rebekah - I can not believe that you have been with us for 7 years now. You are a wonderful little girl. I love how you care for others & your desire to please Jesus with everything you do. We had a wonderful birthday party tonight at Skate Country. You are so special & I look forward to another wonderful year as your Mommy!!
Another great cake from Mrs. Pat!

Here is the whole crew doing the hokey pokey.

McKinney and Sarah - We are so blessed with great neighbors!!
Pop was a little uncomfortable - the biggest size they had was a 14!
Micah wanted to skate, but they didn't have his size either.
McKinney and Zachary were pooped (after only 5 minutes).

Georgia Tech Spring Game

You kids LOVE it when Daddy takes you to Georgia Tech. Each time you go is special. This was for the Spring Football Game. Fun memories with Daddy!!

Daddy said one of you was shy about having your picture taken with a group of cheerleaders & one of was not. Below is the one that was NOT at all shy!!! You can tell by the large grin on your face!!
Rebekah, you finally worked up the nerve to have your picture taken too.

I Believe I Can Fly...

Wow - those kids can really fly

Easter - Thank you Jesus

What a glorious day!!! We have a real reason to celebrate on Easter Sunday - our Savior is RISEN!!! Thank you God for our salvation through the sacrifice of your only son.
Not bad, considering this picture was taken by a 6 year old!

Spring Break 2009

We had a wonderful time at Big Canoe for four days. Family came and stayed with us at the Williamson's cabin for a long weekend. We had a blast. Lots of hiking, games, food, and fun memories.

Micah loved the pool.

The kids had a great time collecting tadpoles. We took some home in a water bottle, however they aren't living any longer :( It was fun while it lasted!

Here are the kids with their tadpoles.

We rented a boat on Sunday to do some fishing. The kids had a great time & the Dad's caught three fish.

By Monday the weather had turned very COLD. However, that didn't stop us from enjoying Big Canoe.

On Tuesday morning we woke up to SNOW!! Can you believe it, snow in April??!!

The best picture of the trip. Check out poor Amelia - she definitely got the worst end of this snowball face off!!!
