Celebration Petting Farm

This is one of my favorite events of the Celebration Preschool year. I love when the petting farm comes to school. The kids love it & I love it too. McKinney, you are especially excited about this day. You have a love for farm animals and are fascinated by them. It is always a special treat because Pop attends the petting farm too. He loves seeing you with the animals too!

You were really interested in the turkey this year. You couldn't stay away from its cage and you started trying to pluck feathers off of him (with the permission of his owner). Once you got the hang of it, all the other kids were asking you to get feathers for them too! You were a real hero.

Micah also enjoyed the petting farm this year. He kept running from animal to animal full of excitement. Micah, your favorite was the pig. We couldn't keep you off of him.
Can you say "piggy and a blanket" anyone???

Spring Break - Big Canoe 2010

Going to Big Canoe for Spring Break is quickly becoming a favorite family tradition. You guys love hiking through the woods, going to the waterfalls, catching tadpoles, riding bikes, and just being in the mountains. We had a wonderful trip this year. Ya'll were so excited that the Segraves could come with us. Zachary Elkins also joined us for several days which made McKinney very happy. Anyway - I hope there are many years of fun at Big Canoe!

Those look like some serious hikers.
Rebekah and Lauren posing together. So sweet that you girls have been best friends since birth!
All the girls

All of you kids looking over the bridge at Amicalola Falls.
How can you not believe there is a God when you see nature like this??

After hiking all the way down from the top of the Falls, everyone was ready for a snack and a rest!!

Swimming at the indoor pool ~ always an adventure!

Mr. Russell took us on the Jeep trail in his truck. I rode in the back with all the big kids while Ben & Micah rode up front with Daddy, Mr. Russell, and Mrs. Paula. This was sooo much fun. I tried to get you guys to ride with no hands, and you finally did!

What a cutie. Micah, you are the most easy going little guy. You were sick all week, but you kept up with the best of us!

The Hardmans came up on Sunday to spend the day. Micah enjoyed getting to see Walker, your buddy from Sunday School.
The last night there, Micah finally gave up. You were running a really high fever little guy and you just couldn't keep up any longer. Daddy loved the special treat of holding you while you slept, although he wished you weren't sick :(

Easter

Holiday's are great at our house. We have so many fun traditions. For Easter we dye eggs. The kids get very creative & see how "cool" they can make their eggs. McKinney is always a jokester ~ this picture is no different.

Rebekah is very serious about her egg coloring. Like everything she does, she wants her eggs to be perfect.

Then, the Easter Bunny visits and leaves treats in the kids' baskets.

Rebekah is checking out her joke book.

Micah loved his new sippy cup ~ especially since it was full of candy.

McKinney loved his water balloons and his new sneakers.

A few pictures at the front of the neighborhood before heading off to Easter service at church.

2010 Sparks O' Rama

This is our 2nd Sparks O' Rama. Rebekah really enjoys participating and helping her team win first place. They did great & did win first!!
Here she is starting the Sparky Crawl.

Sparky Safari ~ a.k.a carrying a bean bag on your head. This is her favorite event.

Here she is with the First Place Trophy!
What a great team.

Afterward she was greeted by her fans.
